SUMMARY:“Mindset” by Paolo Ceribelli
DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of Start\, the white night of contemporary art\, Thursday\, October 8\, Galleria Studio Rossetti opens the exhibition Mindset. \nThe limit is a state of mind: Paolo Ceribelli\, in his first solo exhibition in Genoa\, faces and challenges warily the border of the barriers imposed by the human mind.\nA hymn to emancipation from the fixity of our intellectual condition. \nThe artist demolishes the boundaries that exist between form and its conceptual content. Objects that refer to a precise imaginary are unhinged from their conventional meaning and their shapes exploit the shadows that three-dimensionality imposes to untie the color from a common interpretation.\nFrom every angle you look at the work\, the shades of solid color are revealed in a continually different way and the darkness envelops the geometries\, supporting the sources of light\, making the bright colors of the canvases trigger contrasting sensations that are never identical. \nThe Mindset exhibition is an invitation to free the Pascolian “fanciullino” that resides in each of us\, to observe objects and the world\, rediscovering the childlike ability to wonder.\nA stimulus to look and study our mental states\, to follow the intuition that naturally leads to our personal truth.\nThe freedom that allows us to embrace our passions by overcoming our limitations.
