SUMMARY:The path of the muses
DESCRIPTION:The winter exhibition proposed by the Rossetti Gallery\, entitled ‘Il sentiero delle muse’ (The Path of the Muses)\, unfolds as an authentic journey of discovery into the many aspects of femininity\, set in the 16th-century cellars of Palazzo Saluzzo.\n\nThe collective exhibition will feature artists represented by the gallery who have chosen the female figure to express their inner selves: a crescendo journey that highlights the differences and interpretations of the “muse”\, crossing varied cultures and imaginations.\n\nFor the occasion\, artist Tom Porta will be present at the gallery to show his work live.\n\nThe opening will take place on Thursday 4 December at 6 pm at our gallery. At the same time\, the district will be brought to life for the Christmas party\, a widespread event involving ateliers\, galleries\, creative studios\, design shops and artisan workshops. Event curated by Arianna Destito Maffeo and Antonella Grandicelli of The MeltinPop\, the literary blog dedicated to all cultural issues related to society and the local area. \nDuring the evening\, it will be possible to purchase the book. \nLocked in a room on a winter night in Paris in 1920\, Jeanne is not alone: her brother André is with her. When you are desperate\, you should always have a brother by your side. Brother and sister remember\, imagine\, cry\, and laugh. Jeanne is talented\, in love\, and not yet twenty-two years old. Her child is about to be born. Her partner has just died. Few people know Jeanne Hébuterne. Everyone knows her partner: Amedeo Modigliani. During this long night\, immersed in memories of an overwhelming passion and forbidden love\, Jeanne retraces her story with Modì. A compelling tale of love\, loss\, and resilience set in the vibrant and tormented artistic world of early 20th-century Paris. \nLink to the book: https://www.morellinieditore.it/books/jeanne-hebuterne/ \n  \n \n  \nSTEFANIA COLOMBO \nBorn in Milan in 1979\, she was fascinated by the creative power of words and initially became interested in the performative power of language\, working as a criminal lawyer from 2004 to 2013. At the same time\, she trained as an actress\, author\, and director. She moved to Paris\, where she currently lives\, and obtained a Master’s degree in Études Théâtrales at the Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3. She is a member of the artistic collective La portée and the theater company Il Palinsesto. She contributed to the book A tutto sport\, published by La Spiga (2016).
