Christmas in Giustiniani and Surroundings

On Thursday 4 December, from 6 pm, the neighbourhood of Piazza Giustiniani and its surroundings, one of the most evocative areas of the historic centre and the heart of Genoa’s Design District, will come alive with “Natale in #GiustinianiEDintorni” (Christmas in #GiustinianiEDintorni), a widespread event involving ateliers, galleries, creative studios, design shops and artisan workshops.
The initiative was created as an opportunity to bring together merchants, professionals, friends and customers, while promoting the artistic and artisanal fabric of the neighbourhood through exhibitions, performances, tastings, interactive works and installations.
THE INITIATIVES IN THE PROGRAMME:
• Lino Di Vinci – Lifeforms Art Studio
“Threesonance”: performance of fluid geometry and electronic interaction with Team Hydra (Baricchi, Bertoli,
Mongiovì), in dialogue with the works in the gallery.
• LOSPAZIO – Marta Rebora
“Natale a mano libera – libertà creativa tra sartoria e design” (Freehand Christmas – creative freedom between tailoring and design): unique garments by Rattovolante and furnishing accessories by
rinCASAre.
• Studio A4 Architetti Associati & Pollericinque
Objects rich in memories at Spazio Canneto, with a toast in a vintage atmosphere and an exchange of Christmas baubles
brought by visitors.
• Cambielli Genova Atelier
Celebration of the Atelier’s first Christmas with a special opening.
• JoLab – Art & Textile Design by Johanna Wahl
‘Hidden Imaginaries’: preview of Gabriel Rapetti’s interactive multimedia work, with images by the author and
Johanna Wahl.
• Schenone Arredamenti
“A Christmas of Design”: convivial gathering with sparkling wine and panettone in the showroom in Via Chiabrera.
• Rossetti Arte Contemporanea
Collective exhibition in the 16th-century basement of Palazzo Saluzzo dedicated to femininity. Artist
Tom Porta will also be present with a live demonstration.

Carol Burger’s ‘Moon-Magic’ exhibition: an immersive journey curated by Matteo Rossi, with an artistic paper nativity scene and
animated video inspired by the works.
A widespread event to celebrate the neighbourhood and enjoy an evening of art, design, craftsmanship and creativity.
