FOUR READINGS ON THE WORLD OF ART SELECTED BY THE GALLERY
Microsoft will create a digital clone of Notre Dame
Il Giornale dell’Arte

The most visited monument in France (over 6 million visitors recorded between 16 December and 30 June 2025, as reported by La Tribune Dimanche Ed.), reopened after the colossal reconstruction work that began following the fire that devastated it in 2019, will have its own digital replica created by Microsoft, just like St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome and Mont-Saint-Michel. Although not entirely new, the project announced by the US technology giant should allow an unlimited number of visitors to discover Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris without leaving their homes.
The ‘Storie dell’Arte’ podcast: 10 episodes covering scandals, thefts, discoveries and mysteries that art has handed down to us.
Artribune

A podcast created to recount art through history and history through art. This is how Storie dell’Arte (Art Stories) presents itself, a ten-part artcrime podcast conceived and produced by art historian Mosè Previti (1983) for Artribune.
At the heart of each episode is a real event, a documented occurrence: each episode is the result of research that combines archival sources, articles, court records, interviews, and first-hand accounts. All reworked with rhythm and irony, with an immersive and personal style, aided by an original soundtrack created by revisiting a vast repertoire of well-known classical compositions and unpublished pieces on the synthesiser.
We begin with Lost in Caravaggio, the story of the fortuitous and sensational discovery of Caravaggio’s The Taking of Christ.

A work for every region of Italy in Agrigento, the Italian capital of culture
Finestre sull’Arte

From 8 July to 30 November 2025, the city of Agrigento, Italy’s Capital of Culture, will host the exhibition Treasures of Art from Italian National Museums at Villa Aurea, an exhibition project designed to promote the richness and dissemination of the artistic heritage preserved in state museums.
The curatorial approach is based on a simple yet effective principle: one work of art for each of Italy’s twenty regions. In this way, the exhibition constructs an itinerary that ideally crosses the entire peninsula, offering the public a panorama that brings together well-known masterpieces, usually exhibited in permanent collections, and lesser-known works, often kept in museum storerooms and rarely seen. The aim is to show the public not only the artistic excellence of each region, but also the complexity and diversity of the national cultural fabric.
