GENOVA BOOKPOP FESTIVAL FROM OCTOBER 24 TO 27, 2024

Genoa BookPop Festival 2024, a literary and cultural event conceived by the blog Themeltinpop in collaboration with CDM Lab and Sara Rattaro, will be held in the Ligurian capital from October 24 to 27, 2024.

In this second edition, the festival will host presentations, debates, comparisons, performances, workshops/meetings with schools, free workshops with publishers
comic book illustrators, teachers of creative writing and interpretive reading.

“Every day, what you choose, what you think and what you do is what you become.” (Heraclitus).

The theme chosen for this edition is BECOMING: Genoa BookPop Festival aims to be an open space for sharing, encounter, doubt, knowledge, following the individual and society through the complex and contradictory stages of its becoming. We will address the theme interpreted through the
lens of literature, language, history, philosophy, and science; we will approach it with one eye on the past and one on the future, trying to interpret
our present, also giving new voices to the generations that are moving and transforming. A plurality of looks to find a common path toward
common goals.

The festival will take place partly at the Rossetti Arte Contemporanea gallery, Via Chiabrera 33R, and partly in the archaeological area of Giardini Luzzati –
Spazio Comune, Piazza Luzzati 1, to invite the public to experience more intensely the spaces offered by the heart of the city.
