Solo exhibition by Gianluca Patti
27 March @ 18:00 - 27 April @ 21:00

The exhibition season at Galleria Studio Rossetti continues with a solo exhibition dedicated to artist Gianluca Patti.
An eclectic and sensitive artist, he is characterized by his bold use of color, expressed through studied and delicate brushstrokes, overlapping and layered. The artist manages to blend and create a dialogue between color and materials to which he feels a strong affinity, which have marked his formative path. Through layering, he recounts time and the unwritten stories that accompany it.
Drawing on his familiarity with construction elements such as resins, stucco, pigments, and gauze, and his skill in handling colors, he manages to create artistic compositions of pure abstraction, balanced but endowed with marked originality and great visual and material impact.
Thanks to his use of color, Patti has developed his own personal style in which color and material coexist, complement each other, come to life together, and enhance each other.
Gianluca Patti’s works are a kaleidoscope of emotional and visual stimuli.
The artist depicts the metamorphosis, evolution, and relentless flow of our thoughts over time. These changes give rise to new insights, inspirations, and ideas in a constant stream.
The title of the exhibition was inspired by listening to the song ‘Go Ahead’ by Miles Davis, the great trumpeter and jazz composer considered one of the most influential and innovative musicians of the 20th century. In the 1980s, he embodied the concept that change must be a constant component in art: ‘If you want to keep creating, you have to be about change’. Jazz is free music, constantly changing: in the same way, Gianluca Patti’s work moves sinuously between structure and improvisation, control and abandonment. On the table, rules serve only as a springboard for creative leaps, transforming into a continuous exercise in self-determination, poised between free choice and the ripples of shared language.
Go Ahead tells of determination and of not stopping, of accepting change as an integral part of the creative and human journey. It is an invitation to never stop creating, to believe in movement, in research, in the possibility of reinventing oneself. In an age that demands speed and certainty, this exhibition asserts the value of process, evolution and listening. As in the music of Miles Davis, here too the meaning lies not in perfection, but in the tension towards something that is still happening.
