GENOA | GALLERIA STUDIO ROSSETTI ARTE CONTEMPORANEA | OCTOBER 8 – NOVEMBER 7, 2020
Interview with PAOLO CERIBELLI by Matteo Galbiati
The new season of Studio Rossetti arte contemporanea in Genoa opened, on the occasion of START, a white night of contemporary art in the Ligurian capital, with Mindset, the exhibition by Paolo Ceribelli. We interviewed the Milanese artist to discover the contents of this unprecedented cycle of works, which with its iconic language initiates a reflection on the sense of limit and the meaning of the boundaries imposed and established by the human mind:
How did the Mindset project come about?
Mindset was born as a four-hander with Galleria Studio Rossetti Arte Contemporanea. Framing my work in one artistic current has always led me to a state of mind of restlessness. Therefore, together with Elisabetta Rossetti – whom I thank for her commitment and dedication – we decided to present some latest unpublished works entitled “Code,” juxtaposing them with works already presented and known and trying to bring out intimate aspects (such as the obsession with the pursuit of perfection) of my now almost 15 years of work and make the viewer experience a different perception of it.
